March to the beat of a different rum!

Award winning Curio Spirits Company announces the opening of their new bar and street-food venue, Kyabba Kitchen, at this year's Porthleven Food Festival 22nd “24th April. Set in the idyllic surroundings of Porthleven Harbour, at the Shipyard Market, Curio's new Kyabba Kitchen will not only serve their delicious Caribbean inspired rums such as Kyabba Tangy Mango or Kyabba Salted Caramel, they will also offer a range of tasty Mexican street-food tacos and cocktails with a twist. Dishing up funky food fusions, combining elements of different culinary traditions, alongside some Tequila infused cocktails such as Palomas and Margaritas. Think beef steak with flavoursome Asian spices, cilantro and lime juice all neatly packed into a soft corn taco as you sip on a zesty Margarita. 'We're so excited to be opening the doors to our new bar and street-food venue, Kyabba Kitchen, at the Porthleven Food Festival this year'' said co-founder of Curio Spirits, Rubina. 'A lot of hard work and dedication has gone into making this a reality and we're so proud to see it ready to open on 22nd April. It's something completely new for the area and we can't wait to invite everyone along, it's going to be fantastic!'' This new opening, is part of the continued growth of the Cornish company as they venture into another successful year. The Shipyard is also home to Curio's shop and distillery where they host regular tasting and experience evenings, showcasing their other award-winning spirits, their gin and vodka. During the festival they will host a Gin Tasting Experience on 22nd and 24th April and a Shake and Stir Cocktail Creations event on the 23rd. Places are limited on these events so please book early to avoid disappointment.
