Curio Gin Porthleven Food Festival

On 20th-22nd April, Porthleven held their 10th annual food festival, and it was the biggest yet - and Curio gin were there. Bringing over 30,000 people together in and around the stunning harbour port with a plethora of street food, traders and entertainment, this weekend was a truly special one. We ran two stalls at the festival - one in the trader's tent, where we were showcasing our range of spirits and giving away plenty of tasters, and one just outside with the street food stalls, making delicious gin-based cocktails! It was a busy but super fun three days for us, Curio Gin Porthleven Food Festival. As a trader, the sheer volume of people attending the festival was fantastic. Over the weekend we met a great mix of people of all ages, an amazing array of chefs and foodies both locally and from further afield, and it was awesome to be a part of something so exciting. A huge thank you needs to be given to the hardworking and dedicated organisers- it's no easy task to arrange and execute something like this but they always do so well and this year was no exception. They're commitment to a plastic-free ethos was admirable and the volunteer-run clean-up operation every day was superb.
